Glitch Text Generator

Cyberpunk “signal-noise” text — corrupted, flickering letters with a strength slider. Dial in the damage and copy it into game names, tags and chats.

What is glitch text?

Glitch text layers light combining marks over your letters to fake a “bad signal” look — closer to digital static than the dripping horror of full Zalgo. It is built from real Unicode, so it copies and pastes anywhere, and the base word stays readable under the noise.

How to use it

  • Type your name or phrase above.
  • Use the Intensity slider to set how broken it looks.
  • Copy a style and paste it into your game name, Discord or chat.

Keep it readable where it counts

Stacked glitch marks are the first thing to turn into boxes on Android, and heavy glitch gets filtered from Discord names and the member list. The default intensity stays on the safe side; push it higher only where you have checked it renders. Each risky card tells you where it is likely to break.

FAQ

Same underlying trick — combining marks — but glitch keeps it light for a clean “signal noise” look, while cursed/Zalgo piles marks on for a dripping, chaotic effect. Use the slider to move between them.
Android and Discord cap or filter how many combining marks they will render, so very heavy glitch collapses into boxes or gets stripped. Lower intensity is far safer for names.
Usernames reject it; display names, nicknames and messages usually accept light glitch. Keep it subtle for nicknames.
